General
Throughout the years Korpodeko has developed into an important link in the infrastructure of entrepreneurship in Curaçao; the aim is to stimulate private investments, to strengthen the economy and to support the development of the island.
Board
Korpodeko’s Board has a broad social base for taking decisions. This base has been created because the Board consists of representatives from the public sector, the cooperatives, the labor unions and private enterprise. The Boards decides on important (policy) matters.
Objective
Korpodeko’s objective is to stimulate business activities for the social and economic progress of Curaçao. This is accomplished by focusing primarily on medium-sized and small businesses.
Target Group
Projects that may qualify for support by Korpodeko are found in the tourisim, logistics, industrial (including trades), commercial (financial) services and transportation sectors. With a view to spreading the risks, projects may be financed jointly with one or more financial institutions, as part of a consortium.
