E-fondo provides financial support for the purchase of Information and Communication Technology hardware such as computers, or software for the small business sector.
Modaliteiten
To qualify for the E-fondo arrangement a plan should be submitted in which a business or organization identifies what role the computers to be purchased will play within the business. The plan will further state the purpose of the use of ICT and illustrate how ICT projects will be realized.
The E-fondo arrangement can be made use of only once. A committee entrusted with the E-fondo arrangement will determine the amount of the subsidy. The subsidy is exclusively intended as a contribution towards covering a maximum of 80% of the costs of purchasing the ICT equipment and/or software. In accordance with the IT planning of the entrepreneur and the principles of sound IT service management, a maximum amount of NAƒ 5,000.- in subsidy will be granted. The own contribution of the entrepreneur amounts to a minimum of 20%.
